Norwich City is interested in hiring Lampard

Norwich City has been negotiating With Chelsea’s former manager Frank Lampard.

The reports have been suggesting that

Chelsea’s

former boss may return to Premier League to work as

Norwich City’s

new head coach as the club negotiates with

Frank Lampard

.

Norwich City is looking for a new manager to fill Daniel Farke’s place at the club following his departure because of his poor performance as the Canaries boss, which led them to the bottom of the Premier League table.

Chelsea’s former midfielder is not the Canaries head coach, however, as they are also considering Dean Smith, who has parted ways with Aston Villa on the weekend.

Lampard has not been offered a contract from Norwich, but he is already thinking about the members of his staff and the reports suggest that the Blues’ legend is thinking about bringing some of Chelsea’s staff to Norwich and one of those on Lampard’s mind is Chelsea’s assistant coach Joe Edwards and other names on Lampard’s mind are several youth-team coaches at Chelsea.

Lampard was sacked from Stamford Bridge in January following his poor performance as the Blues’ boss, and after his departure, Thomas Tuchel helped the Blues win the Champions League, and this makes Lampard’s job harder at Norwich to prove himself as a high-quality manager.
