Al Sadd has announced that they have reached an agreement with the La Liga giants and will send the Catalans’ legend to his favorite club as their new manager, but this has made the Spanish side confused as they have no agreement about the terms of Xavi’s release with the Qatari side.
The Catalans said that there wasn’t an agreement about Xavi’s release clause, but then they reached an agreement with Al Sadd later that day, and now they will pay €2.5m, and Xavi will also pay €2.5m for ambassadorial work at AL Sadd in the future.
The reports suggest that Xavi and Barcelona have reached an agreement about all the details of their contract and he will fly to Barcelona on Saturday and that the former Spain and Barcelona star has been seen saying goodbye to the team, which shows that his move to Barcelona is a done deal.
Although all the details are set for the transfer, there haven’t been any official announcements on the matter from Barcelona, and it seems like the club wants to announce the contract when the deal is finalized.
