Hernandez brothers can play together - Deschamps

The two French brothers will probably be with Les Bleus for the first time.

France

coach Didier Deschamps  claimed that the Hernandez brothers could play together in the national team.

AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez has been called up to the national team for the first time and played in a 2-0 win in World Cup qualifier against Finland. He will also play in the UEFA National League against Belgium and could team up with his 23-year-old brother. Now Deschamps  has confirmed that the two brothers can play together.

“Lucas has the ability to play in the centre or out wide,”

Deschamps said.

“They can play together.

“But it’s not certain that one pushed the other towards a different position. Lucas played out wide with us, but he’s more trained to play in the middle.”

Lucas Hernandez, who plays for Bayern Munich, has made 28 appearances for France. He also competed in Euro 2020 and played two games.
