Bojan Krkic reunites with former Barcelona teammate at Vissel Kobe

The former Barcelona striker will reunite with his Camp Nou team-mate at the Kobe Wing Stadium in Japan.

Bojan Krkic

has made a move to

Vissel Kobe

as a free agent. The Spaniard, who started his career in 2006 at Barcelona, has not been playing since departing MLS outfit Montreal Impact in December.

The ex-Blaugrana striker has now joined Vissel Kobe and secured his return to football, where he is going to reunite with his former teammate at Camp Nou Andres Iniesta.

The 30-year-old showed his delightfulness after the Japanese club unveiled him on Monday, telling their official website:

"I can't wait for this wonderful challenge. This opportunity is one of the best, both personally and professionally, and I can't wait for this big challenge.

"I have been attracted to Japanese culture for a long time and, thanks to Vissel Kobe, I can experience Japan for myself."

Bojan is keen on linking up with

Iniesta

, and hopes to make an impact in the final third.

"

Iniesta is special to me and I am happy to be able to play with him again,"

Bojan added.

"I want to score a lot of goals from his assistance

."

Bojan had his debut for Barca at the age of 17 and became the youngest player to feature in La Liga for the Blaugrana. He met the back of the net 41 times in 163 matches for the club.

He won 10 major trophies with Barcelona, including three La Liga titles and two Champions League crowns; however, he failed to earn a regular place under the reign of Pep Guardiola and was sold to Roma in 2011.

He was on the books at Stadio Olimpico for three years and went on loan sepals at Milan and Ajax, before joining Stoke City on a shock transfer.

He met the target 16 times in 86 matches for the Potters.
