Bayer Leverkusen became the first team in Bundesliga history to win the title without any defeat, after its victory over Augsburg with a score of (2-1) in the match that was held this Saturday evening at its home ground in BayArena.

Victor Boniface scored Leverkusen’s goals in the twelfth minute and Robert Andrich in the twenty-seventh minute, while Mert Kumor scored Augsburg’s only goal in the sixty-second minute.

With this result, Leverkusen’s score rose to 90 points, occupying the top spot, while Augsburg’s score froze at 39 points in the eleventh place.

Leverkusen’s journey started with an early registration in the twelfth minute, after a big mistake from goalkeeper Kubic who was very late in dealing with the ball, where Adli benefited from this mistake and passed the ball to Bonifas who easily scored the first goal in the net.

Then Leverkusen completely dominated the play, where it looked for a second goal in the twenty-fifth minute through a ground shot from Hofman from outside the penalty area, but Kubic brilliantly dealt with it.

In the twenty-seventh minute, Andrich succeeded in scoring the second goal in a wonderful way, where he took advantage of a cross ball inside the area that hit the defense and followed it with a heel shot to settle in the net and the first half ended with Leverkusen leading 2-0.

The second half started strongly by Leverkusen, and Kumor succeeded in reducing the difference in favor of Augsburg in the sixty-second minute, with a distinctive shot from outside the area that hit the net.

The substitute Schick almost scored the third goal for the team in the sixty-sixth minute, but his shot went over the crossbar.

Leverkusen wasted a good opportunity to add the third goal in the seventieth minute, but Chaka’s shot was brilliantly dealt with by Kubic and turned it into a corner.

Augsburg almost punished Leverkusen for those wasted opportunities in the eightieth minute, but Hradecky’s save of Bell’s shot preserved the match result with Leverkusen winning 2-1.
