Transfer News: AS Roma goalkeeper Pau Lopez joins Marseille

Olympique Marseille has confirmed the signing of AS Roma goalie Pau Lopez, with Rui Patricio's physical scheduled for tomorrow.

The Giallorossi needed to release the Spanish goalkeeper in order to complete their agreement for the Wolves shot-stopper.

Marseille issued a statement this afternoon stating that they had struck a final deal with Roma for the loan of

Pau Lopez

, which includes a buyout option that may become a requirement.

After Pau Lopez plays 20 games for the club, the option is expected to become a requirement.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia reports that Roma has agreed to Rui Patricio's deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

This deal is estimated to be for over €11 million, plus bonuses, and the Portugal international will have his physical tomorrow.

Roma will also keep 20% of any future sale.

It's Roma's second agreement with Marseille, as the French club recently signed Turkey international

Cengiz Under

on loan with an option to purchase for a total of €8.9 million, which may turn into an obligation if certain requirements are satisfied.
