Ronald Araujo injured with an abductor problem after horror El Clasico

Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo will be sidelined for a few weeks after he picked up an abductor problem against Real Madrid

After having a howler of a game against Real Madrid, it seems that Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo has picked up an injury which will keep him out for unforeseeable future.

scored an own goal against Real Madrid in El Clasico but was shown to be keeping an ice pack on his muscles by the end of the match. Results now show that he has picked up an abductor injury.

"Tests carried out this morning have revealed that Ronald Araujo has a left adductor injury. He is out and his recovery will determine his availability,"

a Barca statement read.

Araujo had already picked up an abductor problem earlier in the season which kept him out of the action for nearly two months.

The Uruguayan's injury comes right before the international break which will give him two weeks to rest before club football resumes in April.
