Nottingham Forest set to sign Atletico's Renan Lodi for potential €35m

Despite being out of Diego Simeone’s favor, the Brazilian performance as the left wingback last season earned him a loan move to the Premier League side that can get permanent for €30m.

has reached an agreement over a loan move for

Atletico Madrid

's Brazilian left-back,

Renan Lodi

, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the loan spell. Forest will pay €5m for the loan move and they can make the move permanent for a reported €30m. Diego Simeone will rely on

Yannick Carrasco

as the wingback for the coming weeks as a replacement would be sought.

Making 15 senior Brazil appearances, Lodi joined Atletico from

Athletico Paranaense

in 2019 for a €21.75m fee and went on to make a total of 84 appearances for the Rojiblancos, scoring 4 goals.

's side is considering Tottenham’s Sergio Reguilon as a replacement.
