Manchester City prodigy Kayky joins Pacos de Ferreira on loan

Dubbed as the 'left-footed Neymar', the 19-year-old forward joined the Citizens on a £21m deal last year and went on to make only two first-team appearances, coming both of them off the bench.

Manchester City

confirmed their 19-year-old poridgiy, Kayky will spend the 2022/23 season on loan in Portugal playing for

Pacos de Ferreira

, in hope of finding some game-time he couldn’t reach under Pep Guardiola.

Kayky

shined in 2020 when he scored 12 goals for Fluminense Under-17s, grabbing the attention of a host of European clubs, including

Liverpool

and Shakhtar Donetsk. However, he ended up joining Manchester City. He made his senior debut against Swindon before coming on as a sub in the Premier League on February 12 against Norwich.

The 19-year-old has exceptional technique, a deft touch, quickness, and the ability to drive straight at his opponent. He plays on the right flank for

Fluminense

, but his ability to move gracefully up the field, find teammates and score goals has prompted comparisons to

Neymar

.

He is gifted in both cunning and natural talent. His ability to find the back of the net is even more astounding than his playmaking talents.

Kayky

was the best scorer in the Under-17 Brazilian top division last season, scoring 12 goals from the right flank to help the team win the championship. His knowledge of the game and intellect enables him to locate space and scoring possibilities near to goal.
