A fiery quintet enhances Al-Ahli Jeddah's position in the Saudi Roshn League

Great superiority and brilliant performance put Al-Ahli at the top and confirm its ambition to compete for the Asian title

On Saturday evening, Al-Ahli Jeddah club managed to achieve a crushing victory over Abha team with a score of 5-1, as part of the competitions of the thirty-second round of the Saudi Roshan League for Professionals.

Al-Ahli players managed to score five goals, where Firas Al-Buraikan scored the first goal in the eighth minute, Ziad Al-Johnai added the second goal in the forty-fifth minute, and Samihaan Al-Nabet scored the third goal in the seventy-third minute, and the fourth goal came through Riyad Mahrez in the eighty-fifth minute, and Frank Kessie concluded with the fifth goal in the eighty-seventh minute.

With this victory, Al-Ahli team strengthened its position in the third place with 61 points, 6 points ahead of Al-Taawon who occupies the fourth place, and the team also secured its seat in the upcoming Asian competition.

As for Abha Club, it occupies the seventeenth place (before the last) with 29 points, which is the same balance of the team occupying the sixteenth place.

The beginning of the match was characterized by strong pressure from Al-Ahli players, and soon Firas Al-Buraikan was able to translate this pressure into an early goal in the eighth minute.

At the beginning of the second half, Al-Ahli continued its strong pressure, and despite Abha team's attempts to respond, Al-Ahli's goalkeeper showed a distinguished performance, as he faced several dangerous shots.

With this overwhelming result, the match ended with a big win for Al-Ahli Jeddah, which enhances its position at the top of the table and makes it a strong candidate to compete for the title.
