Fenerbahce sanctioned after fans' Putin chants

Dynamo Kyiv. As a result, UEFA shut down part of the stadium.
Russia
invaded Ukraine in February, and since then, thousands of people have died and millions have had to leave their homes because of the war.
The chanting started after Oleksandr Karavayev scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal for the Ukrainian team in the second leg of the tie, which took place in Istanbul. The Ukrainian team won the tie overall by 2-1.
It caused Dynamo's manager
Mircea Lucescu
to skip the news conference after the game, and UEFA has now punished the Turkish club for how their fans behaved.
For "throwing objects and sending a provocative message of an offensive nature, i.e., illegal chants," Fenerbahce was fined €50,000 and told to close at least 5,000 seats for their next European home game.
