Milan delighted to have Ibrahimovic back ahead of Lazio clash

The Swedish forward is prepared to come back to the pitch and will join the Rossoneri team for the battle against Lazio tomorrow.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

has not been in

Milan

’s starting XI since their 2-1 defeat at the hands of

Spezia

in January. He has been dealing with knee problems as well as an Achilles tendon issue. So, he was sidelined for many of the games as Milan struggled to net goals.

Base on reports from

Corriere della Sera

, the Swede international has now recovered from his knee problem and is available for selection when Stefano Pioli’s side get ready to face

Lazio

tomorrow.

The 40-year-old featured in 30 minutes of action against the Biancocelesti in the 2021-22 season. He was introduced as a substitute in the second half of their clash in September. He found the back of the net in that match, sealing three points for Milan.

During previous clashes with Lazio, Ibra has met the target nine times and contributed two assists in 15.
