Jose Mourinho
has joked about his side’s two victories while he wasn’t on the bench because of his touchline ban, saying that he will not return to the sidelines.
The Portuguese head coach was sent off in their Serie A clash against
Verona, which ended in a 2-2 draw, and then he was handed a two-game ban, and he decided to stay out of the stadium and watch the games on his laptop from the team bus during those two games instead of standing in the VIP box.
“Mourinho said afterwards we were doing so well, he would not come back on the bench!”

The head coach has also talked about the center-back’s performance in the game, insisting that he did a good job not getting booked.
“He said well done for not getting booked. It’s a rare occurrence, I can’t remember the last time that happened…”
Despite being away from the touchline and watching his side’s games from his laptop, Mourinho’s recent results have been very satisfying to the fans after a tough period that he was facing so much criticism.
