Donnarumma doesn’t get regular game time at PSG for Messi

Reports claim that the Italy international is not happy at the Ligue 1 side and as per reports from Il Corriere della Sera, Lionel Messi backing Keylor Navas is one of the reasons he is not in the starting XI.

Gigio Donnarumma

made a move to

Paris Saint-Germain

from

Milan

when he hit free agency this summer.

The Italy shot-stopper decided to join the Ligue 1 side when his contract expired and PSG pronounced his signing after Italy won the Euro 2020.

Donnarumma won the Player of the Tournament award after pulling off incredible saves against Spain and England, but based on reports from

La Gazzetta dello Sport

and

Il Corriere della Sera

, he expected more game time in Paris.

The ex-Milan star has only featured in two matches out of nine this season and Mauricio Pochettino revealed that he changes his decision regarding the starting shot-stopper based on PSG’s opponents every week.

According to Il Corriere della Sera, the ex-Tottenham boss is an ‘equilibrist’, who bases his decision on the needs and desires in the dressing room.

Leo Messi, Angel Di Maria, Keylor Navas, Marquinhos and Neymar are united and they back the Real Madrid’s former keeper, which is one of the reasons why Donnarumma is not getting regular game time in Paris.

Juventus

may decide to bring Donnarumma back to Serie A in the summer.
