It was all planned - Jorginho jokes about penalty miss against England
The Nerazzurri midfielder joked that missing his penalty against England was ‘planned’. ‘I knew that Gigio Donnarumma would have saved it’.
Jorginho
had an interview with
SportTV
and talked about the mistake he made when shooting the penalty in
Italy’s the Euro 2020 Final against
England.
Joking about it now is easy and the Brazilian-born Azzurri star does not like to hold back.
“
It was all planned. I knew that Donnarumma would have saved it,”
he joked to SportTV.
“I always give everything I have for the team, but unfortunately, sometimes it’s not enough.
“I ended up missing the penalty, and in that moment the world collapsed around me, because I wanted to hand Italy the win.
“Luckily, we have this phenomenon in goal that saved me.”
