Queen of the South have apologized to furious fans
The presence of Parliament’s Member, George Galloway, in the Scottish club’s Boxing Day match, angered supporters who were not allowed to attend the fixture due to Covid-19 restrictions.
The Scottish Championship club have officially apologized through a statement.
“We can confirm that George Galloway did attend our game against Dundee at Palmerston yesterday
.” The club’s statement read.
“He was socially distant within an area of the ground where he formed a bubble with his family. All Covid protocols were followed at all times.
“We would like to apologise to our supporters who have been upset by his attendance at the match.”

posted a picture on Twitter from the club’s 3-1 defeat to
Dundee
that left the club at the bottom of the Scottish Championship’s table, his tweet received dozens of replies from disgruntled fans.
