Artem Sergeyevich Dzyuba is a Russian professional footballer who was born on August 22, 1988. His father, Sergey Vladimirovich Dzyuba was a native resident of Lubna, Poltava region of Ukraine, and a policeman who would have played football every time he would've found free time. This hobby of Sergey Vladimirovich, made him play as a striker and a goalkeeper in regional tournaments.

Artem's mother, Svetlana Alexandrovna was born in Tsivilsk, Chuvashia. She was a saleswoman in Moscow working near the Shchelkovskaya metro station, the place where Svetlana and her husband meet. However, being a busy mom didn't make Svetlana forget about her baby boy. She was always there for Artem when he needed her. 

Dzyuba family wasn't rich or fancy! they actually lived their lives in a common apartment in Potapov lane until they bought their house in the area Novokosino. He made his debut appearance for the first team in a Russian Cup match against FC Ural in 2006, coming on in the 85th minute to replace Roman Pavlyuchenko. In the 12th round of the Russian Premier League, he made his debut appearance as a substitute against Saturn Moscow. In that season, he made seven substitute appearances but did not score any goal.

proceeding August 7, 2009, Tom Tomsk signed Artem on a loan until December 2009. He scored 17 goals for

Rostov

on loan in the Russian Premier League in 2013–14 and thanks to all efforts and his performance on the field, André Villas-Boas signed him to Zenit Saint Petersburg in 2015.

He joined Arsenal Tula on loan for the remainder of the 2017–18 season on January 31, 2018. With 17 goals, he was tied for first place in the Russian Premier League for the 2019–20 season with his teammate Sardar Azmoun. Artem also had the most assists for the second year in a row that season. He scored a late penalty on July 25, 2020, to give Zenit the Russian Cup for the 2019–20 season.

Artem was included in Russia's extended 2018 FIFA World Cup squad on 11 May 2018 and his name was in the final list of players on 3 June. On the 14th of June, he came on as a substitute and scored the third goal in a 5–0 triumph over Saudi Arabia.

Dezyuba maintained his outstanding performance by scoring a goal in Russia's 3–1 victory over Egypt in the second match, advancing Russia to the knockout stage for the first time. He converted a penalty minutes before halftime in the Round of 16 encounters against Spain on July 1, making the score 1–1.

Dzyuba became the Russian international squad's captain when Sergei Ignashevich and Igor Akinfeev retired from the national team. On June 9, 2019, he scored four goals in a 9–0 home thumping of San Marino in a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying match, giving Russia their best-ever win and bringing his international tally to 20 goals.

On October 10, he scored his 23rd international goal, surpassing fellow countryman Roman Pavlyuchenko. However, after an explicit video portraying him masturbating emerged and went viral, Dzyuba was dismissed from the national squad ahead of Nations League matches against Moldova, Turkey, and Serbia on November 8, 2020.

Artem Dzyuba was included in the preliminary extended 30-man team for UEFA Euro 2020 on May 11, 2021, and secured his name in the final squad list on June 2, 2021. On June 12, 2021, he played the entire game in Russia's first match against Belgium, which Russia defeated 3–0. Dzyuba played the whole 90 minutes of Russia's final match against Denmark on June 21, scoring the game's only goal from a penalty kick. Russia was knocked out of the competition after losing 4–1.
