Allegri: "It was important to get the win"
In the sixth week of Serie A, Juventus defeated Lecce.
After losing 4-2 to Sassuolo,
Juventusdefeated Lecce 1-0 at home. Milik scored the only goal of the game.
Max Allegri, the coach of Juventus, said to DAZN after the game that it was important to win this game.
“It was important to get the win, especially after a chaotic defeat against Sassuolo. We were up against a Lecce side that allow you very little, but we stayed balanced and made the most of our chances,”
He said.
“Against Sassuolo, we started strong, but then allowed too much at the other end, so it was better this time to keep the game in the balance and make the most of the chances we do create.”
Juventus have earned 13 points out of six games in Serie A and are currently in second place in the table. They will play against Atalanta in their next match.
