Weah: "Allegri has basically allowed me to do whatever I want'
Timothy Weah has joined Juventus from Lille.
Timothy Weah left Paris Saint-Germain after four seasons and signed for
Juventusin July 2023. His five-year deal with Juventus runs through June 30 of 2028.
Weah spoke about joining Juventus and said that Allegri has given him the freedom to do whatever he wants.
“Allegri has basically allowed me to do whatever I want while still keeping the importance to whatever technical work we have. It’s not that different. I just have to defend a little bit more but I’m having fun. I’m basically doing the same things I’m doing as a winger, so it’s definitely fun.”
he told Goal.
He played 107 games for Lille and scored eight goals. He also played 31 games for the United States national team and scored four goals.
