Angel Di Maria, the former
Juventuswinger, in a free transfer deal.
The Argentine Di Maria left the ranks of the Old Lady at the end of the last season, after the end of his contract with the club, to spend only one season at Juventus.
The Portuguese club Benfica published, through the club’s official account on the social networking site "Twitter", Di Maria’s return 13 years after his departure from the team to start his journey in the five major leagues.
The club did not disclose the details of the Argentine star's contract, either in terms of contract duration or annual salary details.
It is noteworthy that Di Maria played in the Benfica shirt in 124 matches, in which he scored 15 goals.
