Inter negotiating over a loan deal for Man United's Harry Maguire

With Milan Skriniar close to a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, the Nerazzurri is preparing an offer for Man United's defender, Harry Maguire.

Earlier,

Milan Skriniar

confirmed his transfer to PSG in the near future with the player's Inter contract due to expire next summer. Although it is up to PSG to either secure his services with a fee this January or wait on a free transfer next summer,

Inter

are preparing to lose a regular first-team player.

According to the

Daily Mail,

Inter have made an approach for

Manchester United

's centre-back

Harry Maguire

, interested in picking up the 29-year-old England international on loan. Contracted to the Red Devils until 2025, under-struggle Maguire has just managed to start four Premier League games this season.

After rejecting their offer of a contract extension, Internazionale’s Slovakian captain is bound to join PSG, who has been Skriniar's long-time admirer. This is not the first time a situation like this happens to Inter in recent years, which has prompted Inter Milan’s former Dutch star Sneijder to speak up about it.

"This is a problem of management,"

he said.

"When management is not good it's hard to control all the details. On the pitch it is easier, while off it, it is harder but just as important.

"You cannot let the players say they want to leave, let alone at this very moment. You have to take precautions in time to prevent all this."
