Salihamidzic claims Nubel is the "obvious solution" for Neuer's injury

Manuel Neuer shocked everyone when he revealed that he has broken one of his legs during the holiday while skiing. In a rush to find a replacement at the goal for their captain, their director says bringing back Nubel from Monaco is the obvious solution.

After fracturing his lower right leg during a skiing trip,

Manuel Neuer

is set to miss the remainder of the season with Sven Ulreich being the only remaining goalkeeper in Bayern's current squad.

While

Bayern

is rumored to rush into the transfer market for a replacement,

Hasan Salihamidzic

believes there's an obvious solution, which is bringing

Alexander Nubel

back from his loan spell at Monaco. Since joining Monaco on a two-year loan deal, Nubel made 53 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.

Salihamidzic told

Sport Bild

:<em>

"It is important that we find the best solution for our team in the short term.

"Of course, Alexander Nubel would be an obvious solution. In the end, Monaco have the last word."

Bayern was linked with a move for Croatia's 27-year-old goalkeeper, Dominik Livakovic last week. Bayern CEO

Oliver Kahn

rapidly ruled out their interest.
