Belgium is looking for a "serial winner" as Martinez's replacement

After failing to qualify from their Qatar 2022 group, the Red Devils dismissed their head coach, Roberto Martinez. In search of his successor, the RBFA issued a statement announcing the recruitment process.

Belgium

suffered an early exit from the World Cup after a 2-0 defeat to Morocco and a 0-0 draw with Croatia as

was subsequently sacked. Announcing the recruitment process, Belgium declared they are looking to hire a "serial winner".

The Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) said:

"Even after the early elimination at the World Cup in Qatar, the RBFA remains very ambitious for the future.

"The RBFA is looking for a full-time national team coach who knows how to win. The new national team coach is extremely ambitious and has the necessary international experience at top level, football tactical knowledge and insights as well as the right personal skills.

"He knows how to focus on creating a close-knit group and how to integrate young players."

Belgium will face Austria, Sweden, Azerbaijan, and Estonia on their way to qualification for Euro 2024.
