Klopp advises Liverpool fans to be patient with Carvalho

The Reds have taken a chance on an exciting Portuguese forward, and they have the "best teachers" ready to help him grow.

Jurgen Klopp

wants

Fabio Carvalho

to be patient, even though he knows that the talented teenager, who cost Liverpool £8 million ($10 million), has the ability to "bring a stadium to its feet."

The deal for a 19-year-old Portuguese winger to move from

Fulham

to

Anfield

was set up in May, and GOAL confirmed a month before that announcement that an agreement had been made.

Carvalho is thought to have a bright future. For now, he is learning from the "best teachers" on

Merseyside

, and Klopp hopes that a hot prospect will be given time to reach his full potential.

Klopp explained on the official Liverpool website why the Reds moved quickly to sign the young player and why this is a move that should excite the team's fans: "It's great that we can finally welcome Fabio and give our fans a proper introduction to him.

"He's so talented, isn't he? A player who can make a crowd stand up and cheer. He plays with confidence and a sense of adventure with the ball and wants to make things happen.

"He is a versatile player, and his creativity and speed make him a real threat in attack. Fulham had a great season last year, and Fabio was a deserving winner of the individual award he got because of it."

Even though it doesn't need to be said, it's good to remind everyone that he will need patience. It's a step up, but we know he can do it. That's why we were so eager to get him to sign with Liverpool for so long.

"This is the perfect place for him to learn and grow. He has some of the best teachers in football in his locker room, who will help him settle in and adjust. With us, a player like Fabio will have the chance and space to get better, learn more, and grow. I can't wait to work with him and see him wearing a red jersey."
