Conte confirmed 'Hakimi's dream to return to Real Madrid'

Hakimi did not get much opportunity at Real Madrid and was forced to leave the team.

The former

Inter

coach confirmed that Achraf Hakimi would like to return to

Real Madrid

.

After only one brilliant season in the Italian League and winning the Serie A with Inter under Conte's management, Achraf Hakimi left for Paris Saint-Germain to continue his career. Hakimi went to France with 60 million Euros and Inter had no choice but to sell this valuable player to solve their financial problems.

Hakimi grew up at Real Madrid's academy, but played only 17 games for the first team, then went on loan to Dortmund for two seasons, and finally, Madrid decided to sell him. Recently, Hakimi's agent admitted that the 22-year-old player wishes to return to Real Madrid one day in the future and now conte also confirmed it.

He told

Sky Sport Italia

:

"His dream is to play for Real Madrid again as a key player."

"Psychologically, Hakimi suffered a little bit from last year's games,"

Conte added.

"I remember those two games very well. From that point on, he worked a lot and I saw a young player who wanted to learn how to [improve].

"He understood that what he was doing attacking-wise was not enough; now he is among the best in the world. If he keeps working on his final ball, he can be world class."
