Mihajlovic: I hope the players understand the importance of the match

Bologna boss talks about tomorrow’s clash against Cagliari.

are set to face

Cagliari

tomorrow in a Serie A clash.

The Rossoblu’s boss

Sinisa Mihajlovic

has talked about tomorrow’s clash in a pre-match press conference.

He said:

“Surely, the match against Cagliari can be our crossroads.

“If we get the result and win, we will be 90 per cent safe and at that point you can also think about the other things we deserve.

“I hope that the lads understand the importance of the match, if we repeat the match against Lazio from the point of view of aggression and determination, it’s much easier to get a positive result.

“I’m very confident, we had a few days to prepare for the match.

“We know the qualities of Cagliari, who from the midfield and up have players who can put us under pressure, but we will go there and play to win.

“They are good at counterattacking with Nainggolan, and then they do well with Joao Pedro and Pavoletti.”

Mihajlovic is also going to participate at Sanremo festival this week.

“I don't have time to rehearse,"

the 52-year-old said.

"But I’ll go back with the team, I always go back with the team.

“Even when I play in Rome and the next day we have a day off, I go back with the team and then I go to Rome.

“I don’t know how many coaches do it, but I do it because it’s right, it’s important to lead by example.

“Thursday morning, we will train and then I will go to Sanremo afterwards. It’s certainly not a tour de force.”
