Mihajlovic: ‘We can’t just be content with a good performance’

Bologna manager Sinisa Mihajlovic believes they cannot be pleased with their good performance and insists Bologna must focus on details and minimize their errors in order to get results ahead of their games against Parma and Benevento.

“It is important that we face Parma and Benevento with the same attitude we showed against Juventus and Milan,”

said the coach in his press conference

.

“We can’t just be content with a good performance now, we need the results too. We’ll try to play our game against Parma tomorrow, be more focused on the details and minimize the errors. I have faith.

“We’ve gone through worse periods than this, and are still seven points clear of Parma, five away from the relegation zone, so we’re not worried. We have to look forward with a positive attitude and believe that sooner or later our luck will turn.

“Parma had a lot of difficulties, as there were many changes both on and off the field. They are really starting a new project now and we’re at a more advanced stage of the process.”

Mihajlovic

explained why he chose to drop Riccardo Orsolini against Parma.

“Andreas Skov Olsen will start tomorrow, as he deserves to play and has now fully recovered from an injury. Orsolini is physically fit, but he will be on the bench tomorrow due to a technical decision and not for any fitness concern. I want to make it clear that I am not dumping him, it’s just a way to keep everyone on their toes and feel the pressure.”
