Barcelona gets a fitness boost with Kounde and Garcia updates

With the starting centre-backs both being forced off with injuries during Barca's 1-0 victory over Valencia, the Blaugrana had to finish the match with Marcos Alonso and Gerard Pique as centre-backs. However, the club confirmed the defensive duo’s injury’s not serious.

“Tests carried out this morning concluded that: Eric Garcia has an external obturator muscle strain in his left hip. Jules Kounde has a biceps femoris muscle strain in his left thigh.”
