Manchester United’s transfer market is under the microscope

In a mission to get rid of the surplus and renew the crew, will the English giant return strongly to the top of European football?

Manchester United is preparing for a scene full of major moves in the summer transfer market after the end of our current season. Billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, who owns a stake in Manchester United, is looking forward to bold steps to get rid of a large number of team players during the upcoming transfer period. According to its reports, the new administration seeks to sell most of the current team’s players, except for only three, namely Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Højlund.

The English club is looking forward to building a strong and distinguished team, which can compete strongly for local and continental championships, through investment in this young trio. This comes in light of the team’s lackluster performance in the current season and its failure to qualify for the upcoming Champions League, which puts a big question mark on the future of the current coach, Dutchman Erik ten Hag.

Reports also indicate the club’s readiness to give up English star Marcus Rashford if an appropriate offer is made to include him. The club is also seeking to avoid violating financial play rules, especially with the urgent need to strengthen the team with new deals, including a new striker, a midfielder, and a right center-back.
