Simone Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
“We were up against a quality side. At the start we struggled to find the right shape, but after taking the lead we controlled it well. We also reacted after the equaliser, getting a deserved win against a team that I knew was going to cause us problems.”
Inter defeated Benfica 1-0 in their previous match in the Champions League.
Inter have earned seven points from three games in the Champions League and are currently in second place in the table.
