In the sixth week of Serie A,

Inter

, who had achieved five wins in their previous five games, lost 2-1 to Sassuolo. Denzel Dumfries scored Inter's only goal in this game.

Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Inter, said after the match that Inter should have scored more than one goal.

“We had a good first half against a quality team in good shape. For what we created, we should’ve scored more than one goal,”

he told DAZN.

“After the break, we started well, then there was the error for the 1-1 and from there we were no longer able to be sharp, to keep our shape, Berardi scored a magical goal and we lost our way.”

Despite this loss, Inter is still at the top of Serie A table.

They will play in their next game in Serie A against Salernitana.
