Bayern Munich vs Mainz a crucial clash in the DFB-Pokal
The Bundesliga champions are going to have a crucial clash against Mainz in the DFB-Pokal Round of 16.
Bayern Munich will lock horns with Mainz in the DFB-Pokal’s Round of 16, while Borussia Dortmund take on Bochum in a derby. Bayern vanquished Viktoria Koln and Augsburg in the first two rounds and have now reached the third round for the first time in three campaigns. Their battle against Mainz is a very crucial one, with the latter sitting sixth in the Bundesliga table. Moreover, they have been able to beat Bayern in their previous two games on home soil.
Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, will go against Bochum, their local rivals. RB Leipzig will take on Hoffenheim, while Union Berlin will lock horns with Wolfsburg.
Sandhausen, meanwhile, are set to face Freiburg, while Stuttgart go against Paderborn. Eintracht Frankfurt will also host Darmstadt whereas Nurnberg will take on Fortuna Dusseldorf.
