Official: Fabio Vieira joins Arsenal for £34m
Arsenal has confirmed the signing of Portugual midfielder Fabio Vieira from Porto.

Arsenalin a deal worth £34m including add-ons. He is Arsenal’s third signing of the summer after Matt Turner and Marquinhos.
The 22-year-old player in 27 appearances scored 6 league goals and provided 14 assists in the 2021/22 Primera Liga campaign for
Porto.
Vieira told Arsenal's official website:

"It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. Everyone knows that Arsenal is a fantastic team. That was one of the main factors behind my choosing Arsenal. I really like the way the team plays and I can’t wait to get started.
"I know some very famous players have played here. Some big stars, global legends of the game, such as Bergkamp, Thierry Henry, Cazorla, and Fabregas. I remember them well. They were players who had so much presence on the pitch."
He is yet to make a senior international appearance for Portugal but has featured 20 times for their Under-21s. He won the player of the tournament award at last year's European U21 Championship.
Fabio Vieira will wear the number 21 shirt at Arsenal.
