Juventus

,

Real Madrid

and

Barcelona

still trying to revive the plan almost one year after it did not get off the ground.

On April 18th 2021, the idea of Super League was pronounced with 12 major clubs backing the idea; however, nine of them stepped back within days as it backlashed.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus, on the other hand, are committed to the project and Andrea Agnelli, the Juve president, is eager to start a new proposal.

The UEFA President slammed the clubs’ owners for continuing to discuss the controversial plan amid Russia and Ukraine’s incident.

"

First, they launched [this] nonsense idea in middle of a pandemic,"

Ceferin said of the club owners.

"Now we are hearing they are launching another in a war.

"They must live in a parallel world."
