Ziyech and Kovacic may miss Chelsea’s EFL Cup final
The Blues might not have Hakim Ziyech and Mateo Kovacic’s services at their disposal when they go to the final of the EFL Cup as the duo sustained injuries following the battle against Lille.

may miss the EFL Cup final on the weekend after they suffered injuries when
Chelsealocked horns with Lille in the
Champions League.
After the restart of the game at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, Kovacic was injured and replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Ziyech, who has met the back of the net in all of the last three matches he appeared in the Premier League and assisted Kai Havertz for a goal against Lille, suffered an ankle injury. Saul Niguez came on the pitch to replace him in the 60th minute.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is hoping the two players get fit in time for the battle against Liverpool on Sunday, as the Blues are aiming for more silverware following the Club World Cup victory this month.
