The Bavarians have reached an agreement with Sabitzer

Bayern Munich about to finalize Sabitzer’s move as Leipzig looks to sign Ilaix.

Marcel Sabitzer

is close to joining

Bayern Munich

as they reach an agreement over the personal terms of the move, and

Leipzig

is looking to replace the Austrian with Barcelona’s young talent

Ilaix

.

The Bavarians have not decided if they want to pay Leipzig’s €15 million (£13m/$18m) asking price, although, the midfielder is ready for a move to Allianz Arena, having already reached the agreement over the personal terms with the club.

While the decision over the Austrian midfielder’s future is on hold, Leipzig is already thinking about his replacement, and they think that the Catalans’ wonderkid Ilaix Moriba can guarantee a long-term replacement for Sabitzer.

It is a bit surprising that Bayern Munich still has doubts about the fairness of Leipzig’s asking price for Sabitzer, considering his performance over the last few seasons as he has been one of the club’s most important players in recent years. The presence of the likes of Corentin Tolisso and Michael Cuisance in Bayern Munich’s squad may be the reason why spending €15m seems unnecessary to them.

Leipzig is thinking about making a €15m bid for Ilaix, who doesn’t seem to have a good relationship with Ronald Koeman.
