Bruno Alves returns to Italy for a third spell to join Crotone

Bruno Alves is going to return to Italian football for a third spell as he is expected to join Crotone in Serie B.

Bruno Alves

left Parma in July to join the Portuguese side Famalicao, but his contract was terminated after only 20 days and since then he has been without a club.

The center-back, who spent three seasons with Parma after a stint with Rangers in Scotland, has returned to Italian football for a third spell, as he previously played for Cagliari in 2016-17, to join

Crotone

, who was relegated from Serie A last season.

The former Portugal international, capped 96 times for the national team, is now on his way to Crotone and is ready to restart in Serie B under Francesco Modesto.

Not only does Alves have a lot of abroad experience from spells at top clubs like FC Porto, Fenerbahce, and Zenit St. Petersburg, but he also has made 121 appearances in Serie A during his time at Parma and Cagliari.
