When the Denmark shot-stopper was preparing to face the penalty in extra-time, the laser was shone in his face.

Some of The Three Lions’ fans booed the Danish national anthem and they also set off fireworks after their side’s victory over Denmark.

In a statement, UEFA said:

"The UEFA Control Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) has announced the following decision.

"The CEDB has decided to fine the English Football Association €30,000 for the use of laser pointer, disturbances during the national anthems and setting of fireworks."

Ahead of the extra-time’s start, the match officials began to chat and referee Danny Makkelie realized that someone was using a laser in the crowd.

After the game was finished with a 1-1 draw, Rahim Sterling was gifted a penalty in extra-time as he was fouled on. When the Denmark goalkeeper was on his line to encounter Kane’s penalty, the cameras showed a light that was shone in his face.

Notwithstanding the conditions, Schmeichel pulled off a save, but Kane scored the rebound and gave his side the lead. England will go against Italy in Euro 2020 Final on Sunday.
