Bernat hopes to back on the pitch with PSG in March or April

is still recovering from an ACL injury he suffered earlier in this season. He underwent reconstructive surgery and is now in the final stage of his rehabilitation process.

Bernat is not yet ready to return to the action, or does he plan to rush his recovery timetable. But at least he can return to the final month of the season in time.

He said:

“I feel good; we are already at the end of my recovery. We hope that at the end of March or early April, I will be with the group.”

Bernat has been out of training recently but has been influenced by sessions that new manager

Mauricio Pochettino

is holding early on

. 

“Yes, we have a new coach, a great coach,”

Bernat added

. “Right now, I think the job he’s doing is good. They train a lot.

“The truth is, teammates usually finish workouts very tired. They train a lot. I have to come back in good condition. Otherwise, it will be difficult for me. But I hope all is well with the new coach and the new staff.”

Bernat will definitely have to keep going when he returns to action, not only because he is not currently on

s knockout list in the

UEFA Champions League

but very likely is still behind

Layvin Kurzawa

and

Mitchel Bakker

in the depth chart.
