Carl Robinson on his decision to leave Newcastle Jets

, played down the tension between Jets men and their former coach as they are expected to face each other on Friday.

’s shocking leave in October, the Jets were surprised to see

’s exit only two months later.

Despite Western Sydney Wanderers having a great run in their first four matches of

A-League

with Robinson, Deans insists that he will try his best to lead his men to a win.

"The first season they got up and running they had a few of our ex players and our CEO and a few other people involved,"

Deans said.

"Every A-League club you get the same situation. For me it's not an issue anymore, what's done is done. It's just about us winning the game on Friday."

In return Robinson talked about his departure from Newcastle, who are currently without an owner after

’s firing, saying:

"I don't air my dirty laundry in public, but it's in public now. Everyone can see part of the reason why I left. It's very clear and it's the right decision."

When Deans was asked about whether he’d take the coaching position with Jets permanently, he responded: "I've been talking about this for six, eight weeks. I don't really want to talk about it anymore."

"We've got a game tomorrow. The club will make a decision when the club is right and it's not right to focus on one person, it's about the team."
