Early Career

The footballer started his career while he was 12 years old at Tooting & Mitcham United Juniors and stayed there for six seasons. While he was 14 years old his talent with the ball was scouted by Tottenham Hotspur. However, Michail’s mother talked her son out of the offer and as a result Michail stayed at Tooting and Mitcham. and signed a contract with the side for a transfer fee in the region of £1.5 million. club West Ham United and signed a £7 million contract with the side for four years. Upon joining the club Michail stated: “It was pleasing to get the deal done before the summer started.
