Liverpool confirm signing of Wataru Endo

Wataru Endo makes his move to Liverpool from VFB Stuttgart.

confirm signing of Japan midfielder Wataru Endo from Stuttgart on a four-year deal.

After signing his contract with Liverpool, Endo stated on the official website of the club that he had always dreamed of playing for this team in the Premier League.

"It feels amazing and this is my dream. It's always a dream to play Premier League and with one of the biggest clubs in the world. It's a dream come true for me,"

 he said.

"I play as a No 6 and I'm like a bit more defensive player. I think I can help this club defensively and I will have good organisation in the middle. I think that's my job.

"I am very excited to join this club and I am looking forward to seeing you at Anfield!"

He will wear the number 3 shirt at Liverpool. 

Endo has played 50 games for the Japan national team and has scored two goals.

Liverpool will play against Bournemouth in their next Premier League match.
