Newcastle signs with Livramento

Southampton player moves to Newcastle club

Newcastle

reached a final agreement with its counterpart in

Southampton

to include its right-back.

Valentino Livramento

, 20, signed with Southampton from

Chelsea

in the summer of 2021 for £5 million.

Livramento suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in April 2022, an injury that ended his distinguished season, before returning after an absence of 392 days against Brighton at Amex Stadium last season, the same stadium where he was injured.

Livramento is expected to become Newcastle's third deal this summer after signing

Sandro Tonali

from

Milan

for 55 million pounds, in addition to signing

Harvey Barnes

from

Leicester City

for 39 million pounds.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano, an expert on transfers for players and coaches in Europe, pointed out that Southampton got what it wanted, which was 35 million pounds, in addition to the additions.

"An appointment has been booked for the player's medical examination, and it has been agreed to sign a long-term contract with him," Fabrizio said through his official account on Twitter.
