Porto 0-0 Inter: Crossbar and Onana saved Inter!

Inter traveled to Porto in need of defending their narrow 1-0 first-leg victory, while Porto showed themselves a dangerous opponent through their journey to the Champions League last-16.

Thanks to a late goal from Romelu Lukaku, Inter Milan managed to win their Champions League last 16 tie against Porto in Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. Inter tried to defend their advantage in most of the game.

Porto dominated the game from the very beginning, Uribe almost scored from long range in the third minute, but his strike deflected wide of the goal. Onana denied Estaquio later before Evanilson missed the Portuguese side's best chance of the first half. The Brazilian raced onto Grujic's pass, but his shot was blocked by Dimarco. Dzeko missed Inter's only chance in the first half.

Letting Porto have the possession for the second half, Inter sat back with an eye for counterattacks. Onana was forced to make a crucial save in the 76th minute as he stopped Grujic's low effort. The Cameroonian keeper saved Galeno's attempt 7 minutes later to keep Inter ahead on aggregate. Marcano and Grujic hit the post in the stoppage time while Skriniar and Dumfries came to make clearances off the line to help Inter seal a 1-0 aggregate victory over Porto.
