Gabriel Jesus makes his injury return from the bench against Fulham

After Man City's Saturday victory over Crystal Palace, Arsenal will travel to Fulham on Sunday in desperate need of a win to keep their five-point clearance on the summit. The Gunners were boosted by the return of their Brazilian striker.

After picking up an injury with Brazil in the Qatar World Cup that forced him to undergo surgery, Gabriel Jesus was out of action for around three months. However, despite having only returned to full training this week, the Brazilian will make his injury return against Fulham this Sunday. Jesus scored five goals in 14 appearances for Arsenal before sustaining a knee injury on World Cup duty.

After missing Arsenal's Europa League last-16 draw with Sporting CP, Leandro Trossard also starts for Arsenal as Arteta made five changes in his squad compared to the last match. Martin Odegaard also has returned to the squad after recovering from illness.

For Fulham, the former Arsenal winger Willian will be absent due to injury, with Bobby De Cordova-Reid coming into the XI. Tosin Adarabioyo also replaced Issa Diop in their starting lineup.

Fulham XI: Leno; Tete, Adarabioyo, Ream, Robinson; Reed, Lukic; De-Cordova Reid, Pereira, Solomon; Mitrovic. Subs: Rodak, Wickens, Wilson, James, Vinicius, Diop, Francois, Harris, Robinson.

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Trossard, Martinelli. Subs: Turner, Tierney, Jesus, Smith Rowe, Holding, Tomiyasu, Jorginho, Vieira, Nelson.
