Al-Nassr want Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos to join Ronaldo
Saudi side Al Nassr is considering signing Paris Saint-Germain star Sergio Ramos in the summer.
After signing Cristiano Ronaldo on a two-year deal worth around $200m, Al Nassr now wants to sign
Ronaldo’s former teammate Ramos on a free transfer.
Ramos who left Real Madrid and joined
Paris Saint Germainin 2021, will be out of contract in June. Ramos reportedly is interested in extending his contract with PSG, but there have been no progress over the extension talks.
Marca claims that Saudi side Al Nassr already has contacted Ramos’ representatives and is willing to offer him a lucrative contract.
Ramos struggled with injuries in his first season in Paris, but he has already played 32 matches this season.
The 36-year-old Sergio Ramos announced his international retirement on Thursday. He made 180 appearances for Spain and won two European Championships and lift the World Cup in 2010.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored a first-half hat-trick for Al Nassr on Saturday, in a 3-0 victory at Damac. Al Nassr moved to the top of the Saudi Pro League with this victory.
Ronaldo now has two hat-tricks in his last three games for Al Nassr. He has scored eight goals and is already joint-fourth in the Golden Boot race.
