Lloris’ absence won’t be felt with ‘perfect’ Forster around

Despite a long-term injury to Tottenham Hotspur goalie Lloris, the club feels that the ‘perfect’ Fraser Forster will be able to fill in.

Tottenham assistant coach Cristian Stellini believes that Fraser Forster can be a “perfect” replacement for

Hugo Lloris

.

Lloris will be out for up to 2 months and hence, now that Antonio Conte has returned from a surgery, the Italian will be without his No.1 but Stellini says that Forster could deliver.

"We are all disappointed about Hugo"

he said.

"But I like Fraser. His behaviour this season has been perfect.

"He trained so hard and in this he also pushed Hugo to train hard.

"We mustn't forget that we have men before we have players and I like Fraser.

"Physically he's perfect for the Premier League and the style we have. He can also use both feet and it will be interesting to see him for the next few weeks."

With 4 errors leading to a goal, Lloris has the worst record of any keeper in Europe’s top 5 leagues.

Forster

will have to fill in for the Frenchman for up to 9 games with academy players Brandon Austin and Alfie Whiteman as his understudies.
