Klopp: Frank Lampard will come back after Everton sacking

who is 19th in the Premier League decided to sack Frank Lampard on Monday. Lampard was appointed as Everton’s manager last January, but only managed to win nine games in 38 Premier League matches.

In his press conference on Friday,

said Lampard is still a young coach and will come back.

"That's the business, that is how it goes,"

Klopp told reporters.

"I feel for Frank. He tried everything. It was not easy for him last year and he did well. They lost Richarlison [to Tottenham] and we know how much injuries can affect a team.

"Frank will come back. He's still a young coach and has everything ahead of him.”

Marcelo Bielsa was Everton’s first choice, but Sean Dyche is reportedly set to be appointed as their new manager.

As for Dyche’s imminent appointment Klopp said:

"Is he? That's clear? But I saw Bielsa landing..."

 will face Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup fourth-round tie on Sunday. They've recently lost their match against Brighton with three goals in the league and Klopp said they have learned from the worst performance he has ever seen from one of his teams.

He said:

"There's always a new chance. You can always do better. That's what we'll do but Brighton is in a really good moment."

He added:

"It's still the worst game I've ever seen from a team of mine, that hasn't changed since then. Pretty much everything went wrong, we've had to change the approach completely, not only against Brighton but in general.

"We did really well in moments during the [next] games. The first half against Chelsea was really disciplined. The second half started well but we got over-excited, we were not that compact anymore, the pressing was not that co-ordinated anymore and then Chelsea had chances. That's something we want to work on, being more compact than we were against Brighton.

"We respect Brighton a lot, for good reasons. We did before the first game as well. But we have to make it more difficult for them, and we will do."
