Aguero hits back at Zlatan Ibrahimovic after his criticism of Argentina players

Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has responded to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's comments about Argentina players' behaviour at the World Cup.

Ibrahimovic

recently criticised

Argentina

players for their celebrations after winning the World Cup and said he can not respect them.

“Messi is considered the best player in history and will be remembered for winning the World Cup, but the others? I cannot respect, as a professional, those who behave like that,”

he said

Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero has responded to Zlatan’s comments and said he is the last one who should talk about these things.

“I remember I was at Man City and we played United. You [Ibra] did hard tackles and complained to the referee,”

said the ex-striker on Twitch, as quoted by the Argentinean paper Olé.

“I think you’re the last one who should talk about it. You also had bad behaviour on the pitch. I remember some dives and once you hit someone with Galaxy to then pretended he had hurt you. Is that good behaviour for you?” asked Aguero.

“It seems to me that it’s very rude to say that we are not going to win anymore. I think that before worrying about Argentina, you could worry about your country, about your players, who were not even in the last World Cup.”

Ibrahimovic has not played for

Milan

this season due to a knee injury, but he has recently started training with the ball. Milan hopes he will be ready for the Champions League clash against Tottenham at San Siro in February.
