Giorgi Mamardashvili emerges as a top target for Juventus

Playing 18 games in the 2021-22 season, managed to keep a clean sheet in 8 games and did not concede a goal in 560 consecutive minutes. This brilliant performance made him a top candidate for Juve's #1 position.

Valencia rejected several offers for the 22-year-old goalkeeper in August and increased his release clause from €20 million to €100 million as they renewed Mamardashvili's contract.

Now, according to Football-Italia, Juventus are chasing the Georgian's signature as they're looking for a long-term option for their number 1 position.

Tottenham was among the teams that monitored the conditions of the Georgian goalkeeper, but he preferred to continue his presence in La Liga.

Los Che looked for a way to extend his contract in August after teams were rumored to be interested in the Georgian goalie. Mamardashvili finalized his move to LaLiga in January 2021 after a loan spell at Valencia from Dinamo Tbilisi.
